MARIAH G. HUMBERT

MARIAH G. HUMBERT

Etiquette expert and author

I’m an etiquette expert and author leading a new era of modern etiquette. I believe etiquette is far more than a set of rules — it’s a powerful tool to help you shine with confidence, forge meaningful connections, and stand out with authenticity. With a warm and fresh approach to this timeless art, I guide my clients through social and professional situations with ease, kindness, intention, and emotional intelligence.

I left the corporate fashion world in 2021 to build my own path, creating a business focused on helping people share their gifts with the world in a polished and confident way. I offer bespoke consultations, training sessions, and keynotes on modern etiquette, personal branding, special event preparation, and more. Think of it as an old-fashioned finishing school, only not old-fashioned at all. My clients come from industries ranging from high jewelry, finance, real estate, and hospitality to entertainment, technology, and education. I’m based in New York City and available to travel for speaking engagements and events by request.

MORE ABOUT ME

I’m a proud member of The International Etiquette Trainer Society and The International Association of Professional Image Consultants, and the author of the modern wedding etiquette books, What Do I Do? and The Essential Wedding Planner. My expertise has been featured by The Today Show, NBC News, Fox News, Forbes, Southern Living, The New York Post, Travel & Leisure, Brides, Martha Stewart, and more.

Some of my favorite things include my family, my daily latte made by my husband, I Love Lucy, long walks, vintage fashion, a good beach read, a big bowl of pasta, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, tennis, any Frank Sinatra song, and of course, New York City.
